How to get there

Situated in the centre of the geo-economic rectangle made up of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and the Basque Country, Zaragoza occupies a privileged position as Europe´ s gateway to the Iberian Peninsula, a role it has been playing as far as communications and exchanges are concerned from the Roman era up to the present day.
Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao are all some 300 km. away. The city´ s privileged geographical position favour its communication with the rest of Spain and the world, with a convenient airport, equipped with the longest runway in Europe, and with great potential for passenger and freight transport.
Zaragoza is at the hub of the motorway network of Northern Spain, linking Catalonia and the Basque Country with the Levante region and the Castillian plateau. In addition, Zaragoza is one of the main links in the rail network, and this is enhanced by the arrival of the AVE (High Speed Train) and Delicias Station as a passenger transport interchange.
