The University of Zaragoza has announced that a recent scientific publication from NFP has been honored with an Award for Open Access Publications.

On June 17, 2024, the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Internationalization of the University of Zaragoza published the resolution for the Re-UNITA Call: Award for 3 Open Access Publications at the University of Zaragoza.

As stipulated in the call, the University of Zaragoza, through the ReUNITA project, awarded three prizes of €1,800 each for open access articles in three scientific fields covered by the Alliance:
– Renewable Energies,
– Circular Economy, and
– Cultural Heritage.

The winning publication in the Renewable Energies topic is:
Title: Enhanced Power Point Tracking for High Hysteresis Perovskite Solar Cells with a Galvanostatic Approach
Authors: Emilio J. Juarez-Perez; Cristina Momblona; Roberto Casas; Marta Haro

This recognition marks a significant milestone in the deployment of the Perovskino MPP tracker as an affordable open platform for perovskite solar cells operational stability measurement. The collaboration between the research groups from INMA (NFP: EJJ-P, CM; HYMAT: MH) and I3A (HowLab: RC) demonstrates their commitment to advancing renewable energy technologies. The groups look forward to continued contributions to open access research and further innovations in this field.
